As Seen On TV Items

For those of you are like me, staying up half the night, watching tv probably came across many late nite ads on television featuring the well known, the loud Billy Mays, advertising another of his quick solution, easy to use products.
I was quite shocked to discover one morning in 2009 when my brother told me that Billy Mays died. I said: "Who's Billy Mays?" He said: "You know, the guy with the beard and slick back hair that sells all those 'as seen on tv' items on television late at night.
Of course I know who he is since I always buy those items not from television, but from Walgreens. I do have to admit that I'm leary of those items because many don't seem to work as promised. But for some particular reason, I keep coming back to that particular section of Walgreens, seeing the latest quick solutions ideas.
They say that "curiosity killed the cat". In this case, it has killed my wallet since I've spend so much money purchasing informcial items. I probably purchase them because the ads are so convincng, especially because of Billy Mays. The products have to work because Billy Mays has his name on it. If Billy Mays has his name on it, guarantee it has to work.
I once bought a paint pen that could be use to get rid of small scratches on the car. Sure, it covered the scratchs, but with a closer look, it could be replicated using just a plain magic marker.
I currently have my eye on the dual saw that both Billy Mays and his partner advertises. This dual saw promises no 'kick back', no sparks, easy to use for an average Joe like myself. I personally don't know why I would need a dual saw since I work full time in the office, and rarely do any maintenance work. But because of Billy Mays and his informercials, I just got to have one.
Some items don't really work. Some items, I guess they work. Most items, well, to be honest, I don't really need them. I just buy them because of Billy Mays.
At first I could not stand Billy Mays but he was on so much, he sort of grew on me and I was sad when he passed away. Fun Hub...go ahead and get yourself that dual saw. Sometimes we just have to have things that we don't need. I have a Roomba--'nuff said.
Hi, that's the power of ads! I don't know him as I live in England, but he must have been good at his job, especially as people seem to have bought so much because of it, cheers nell
nice hub
I am addicted to As Seen On TV products! I will buy just about anything and everything. I can't help it. It's a sick sick addiction with no cure in sight.
I'm a fan of the As Seen on TV products. They're always pretty affordable, so that's a plus since they don't always work how they're supposed to!
I love watching As Seen on TV. I could stay home on a friday night and just watch infomercials all night with a bowel of popcorn.
